Dr. Zach Ortinau

Dr. Ortinau was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. After high school, he moved to Kansas City, where he earned his bachelor's degree in biology from Rockhurst University. It is Rockhurst where Dr. Ortinau met his lovely wife, and they stayed in Kansas City, where he then went on to attend dental school. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and now calls Kansas City home.

Dr. Ortinau realizes that going to the dentist can be a daunting task for some. He saw this firsthand growing up and going to work with his mother, a dental hygienist. Following in her footsteps, Dr. Ortinau wanted to pursue his passion in dentistry by treating the whole person, not just a patient. His main goal is to make each person feel at home and at ease with the environment that his dental team provides. Whether you are in need of a simple filling or more advanced treatment, Dr. Ortinau is committed to helping you achieve and maintain a healthy, confident smile. “I truly believe that everyone deserves to be happy, to laugh, and to show joy through their smile.”



Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ortinau loves to spend his time on the golf course or watching his favorite sports (yes, he is a Cardinals fan). He also loves to travel with his wife, whether it is to the beach or skiing in the mountains. Anytime they can visit a new part of the world, it creates a memory for life!
